End of the road private, nestled amongst the trees, with a mountain top view of Carters Lake. The absolute perfect setting for this delightful mountain cabin, the Carter’s lake Getaway. Three expansive decks, the first one with an over-sized hot tub for you to soak up the scenery while enjoying a beverage of your choice. The second with wrought iron furniture and two custom made stools that sit adjacent to the extra wide railing of the deck; large enough to enjoy a meal and the view at the same time. Finally the third is a private retreat with seating off the upper level loft. You will also find a large stone fire pit with plenty of seats for everyone to sit around and roast marshmallows or make S’mores. Once inside, you’ll note the magnificent stained glass window that allows a rainbow of colors to transcend the family room on a bright sunny day. This room features an extra large 52″ flat screen TV and comfy leather sofa and chair which face the handmade stack-stone fireplace. This is the perfect place to take in the warmth of the fire after a full day of hiking the abundant mountain trails. Two bedrooms, both decorated in cozy mountain decor, one with a Queen and the other with two twins, making this a perfect escape for a busy family of four.
Located near the town of Ellijay ,you can shop the antique stores or grab a bite to eat at one of the hometown eateries or head on down to the Lake, where you can rent boat and enjoy the deep cool waters of Carter’s Lake.
Carter’s Lake Getaway is a beautifully decorated two bedroom, two bath real log home that sleeps up to four (4) people and offers the following:
- One queen size bed and two twin beds with luxurious 400 count sheets
- Wood-burning fireplace in the living room, central heat and air, washer and dryer
- Covered porch, hot tub, wood burning fireplace, and propane gas grill
- Fire pit area with seating
- View of Carter’s Lake from Deck and a 10 min drive to get to Carter’s Lake
- DSL Internet
- 52″ Flat screen TV with Cable TV, DVD/VCR, puzzles, and books
- Foosball table in loft
- Bath essentials such as private label soap and shampoo, hair dryer and thick towels
The fully equipped kitchen includes:
- Granite counter tops in kitchen and bathroom
- Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, garbage disposal, dishwasher, coffee grinder, and coffee maker
- Dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans
The only items you’ll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
- Rates are $150 per night plus tax for up to four (4) guests.
- Weekly rates are $910 plus tax.
- Cleaning fee $65.
- Two night minimum stay on non-holidays.
- Three night minimum stay for New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and the month of October.
- Four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Pets Always Stay Free! There are no size or weight limits or pet deposits!
Because we are truly pet friendly, we provide the following amenities for your pets: Large pet bed, food bowl and water bowl.
A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than twenty-one (21) days to arrival date, minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refund offered for cancellations made twenty-one (21) days or less to arrival date.
