If you like the feel of being tucked away in the mountains, yet having all the luxury of a resort, then the Hunter’s Lodge is the place you want to be. Constructed of native River Rock and cinnamon colored logs, this theme adorns both the outside and inside of this spectacular cabin. Three large bedrooms, with room to sleep up to 14, this is definitely the place for a family reunion or a gathering of good friends. The family area has an entire wall of stone, with a built-in fireplace and TV on one side and a wall of windows facing the river on the other. There’s an extra large kitchen with amply seating and an island with a sink, so you can chat with the gang and cook at the same time. The lower level has a full sized pool table, another floor to ceiling River Rock fireplace and decorative leather seating. And if this isn’t enough to entice you, let’s step outside where the fun really begins. A “10″ is the way I would describe the setting of the Hunter’s Lodge.

Located on the widest stretch of the Coosewattee River, you can sunbath on a rock, sit on the deck which overhangs the river, relax in the swing built for two, nap in one of the two hammocks off the master or just soak up the setting from the hot tub. For our more athletic guest, there’s basketball, volleyball and for the more mellow, horseshoes. Not to be missed is the fire-pit, located at the rivers edge with plenty of seating, it’s the perfect way to end the perfect day. Located in the Coosewattee River Resort in Ellijay, there’s plenty of activities both inside and outside the resort if you care to venture away from the cabin.

Hunter’s Lodge is a beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 3 bath log home that sleeps up to fourteen (14) people and offers the following:

• Main level bedroom Two queen size beds and one bunk bed with luxurious 400 count sheets
• Basement level bedroom One king size bed and two sets of bunk beds with luxurious 400 count sheets

• One Wood-burning fireplace on the main leve, One Gas-burning fireplaces in the basement, central heat and air, washer and dryer

• Rates are $200 per night plus tax for 1 bedroom (sleeps 2 people), each additional bunk room sleeps 6 (two rooms available for total of 12 additional guests) rates are $55 per bunkroom per night plus tax.
• Weekly rates are $1260 plus tax, each additional room is $385 per room per week plus tax.
• Cleaning fee $120 plus tax for 1 bedroom, $160 plus tax for more than 2 bedrooms.
• Two night minimum stay on non-holidays.
• Three night minimum stay for New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and the month of October.
• Seven night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Rates are $2500 plus tax and cleaning.
