Rolling hills and shallow valleys on a quiet country road, which leads to a gentle flowing pasture land filled with bundles of hay and a scene straight out of a Monet painting. This is the road to the Mountain Memories cabin, which is personally situated on at least 3 rolling acres with an abundantly overflowing vineyard adjacent to the property. There are rockers on the front and back porches, gas grill and an inviting hot tub to soak in while your daily stress just melts away.
The interior of this lovely cabin is beautifully decorated with all the extra touches, including hand made custom wood tables and bench, stained glass fixture and leather sofa. Roomy kitchen island with seating for four, so you can have Chef Doug cook, while you relax with some good Cabernet and conversation. A two story stack stone fireplace divides a wall of window which overlook the expansive green pasture. There are four bedrooms, all with TV’s and the master bath has tiled floors and a large inviting garden tub, as well as a private deck. For those looking for a bit of a challenge, there’s a Play Station 2, foosball, air hockey and a full sized video arcade game.
Located just outside of Blue Ridge in the quaint little town of Mineral Bluff, the natural surroundings are breathtaking, with Mountain Laurel in the springtime and dustings of snow throughout the winter.
Mountain Memories is a beautifully decorated 4 bedroom, 3 bath log home that sleeps up to eight (8) people and offers the following:
- Two king size beds and two queen size beds with luxurious 400 count sheets
- Master bath has a jetted garden tub with separate shower
- French doors off of master bedroom and living room offer a view of the valley and nearby mountain
- Two living rooms, hand crafted wood furniture throughout the cabin, and a wet bar with microwave and small fridge
- Gas fireplace in the living room, central heat and air, washer and dryer
- Wireless DSL Internet
- Large yard and outdoor living space with view of the vineyard next-door, hot tub, and propane gas grill
- Satellite TV with Network Channels with 37″ flat screen in the living room and 46″ flat screen in downstairs family room with a blu ray with home theater
- Game room with arcade game, foosball table, air hockey table, board and card games, and books
- Paved roads all the way to the cabin
- Bath essentials such as private label soap and shampoo, hair dryer and thick towels
The fully equipped kitchen includes:
- Stainless steel appliances
- Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and coffee/espresso maker
- Dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans
The only items you’ll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
- Rates are $160 per night plus tax for 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4 people), each additional room is $40 per bedroom per night plus tax. Please specify which rooms you would like to use.
- Weekly rates are $980 plus tax, each additional room is $280 per room per week plus tax.
- Cleaning fee $105 as a 2 bedroom and $125 as a 3 or 4 bedroom.
- Two night minimum stay on non-holidays.
- Three night minimum stay for New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and the month of October.
- Four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Pets Always Stay Free! There are no size or weight limits or pet deposits!
Because we are truly pet friendly, we provide the following amenities for your pets: Large pet bed, food bowl and water bowl.
A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than twenty-one (21) days to arrival date, minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refund offered for cancellations made twenty-one (21) days or less to arrival date.
