You’ll see pastures and horses and “side of the road” stands as the pavement turns to dirt and as you top the hill you’ll get your first viewing of the “Papa Bear Lodge”. This end of the road, private setting with seasonal views is located in the Aska Adventure area in beautiful Blue Ridge, GA. Papa’s is a perfect mountain retreat for the entire family or that romantic getaway for two. There’s an extra large hot tub to accommodate all the guests, a double glide chair and rockers as well; all to relax in and listen to the tranquil sounds of nature all around you. Upon entering the cabin, you can immediately see the attention to detail that has been put into decorating this little gem. Aesthetically pleasing, there are custom furnishings throughout; large kitchen with stainless steel appliances and handmade table and chairs for six, a jigsaw puzzle of smooth river rock make up the fireplace, bringing a piece of the outside in. There’s also cozy leather seating to sit in and soak up the warmth of the inviting fireplace on a brisk autumn eve. Three bedrooms, all with unique wood bedding and furnishings, the master features a garden tub and separate shower area. Upstairs, there’s a full-sized ping-pong table located in the extra large loft. Not to be missed is the “A-Frame” deck off the loft, where you can mellow out amongst the tree tops with a nice cup of hot cocoa and your favorite book. So, pack up the family and head on out to the Papa Bear Lodge, we know you won’t be disappointed.
Papa Bear Lodge is a beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath log home that sleeps up to six (6) people and offers the following:
- Two king size beds and one queen size bed with luxurious 400 count sheets
- Master bathroom has jetted tub with separate shower
- Each bedroom has its own TV
- Gas-burning fireplace in the living room, central heat and air, washer and dryer
- Large hot tub, hammock, fire pit, and gas grill
- Near the Asks adventure area
- Satellite TV with Network Channels, DVD/VCR, Ping-Pong table, board and card games, and books
- Wireless Internet
- Bath essentials such as private label soap and shampoo, hair dryer and thick towels
The fully equipped kitchen includes:
- Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and coffee maker
- Dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans
The only items you’ll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
- Rates are $150 per night plus tax for 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4 people), each additional room is $40 per bedroom per night plus tax.
- Weekly rates are $910 plus tax, each additional room is $280 per room per week plus tax.
- Cleaning fee $75 as a 2 bedroom and $85 as a 3 bedroom.
- Two night minimum stay on non-holidays.
- Three night minimum stay for New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and the month of October.
- Four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Pets Always Stay Free! There are no size or weight limits or pet deposits!
Because we are truly pet friendly, we provide the following amenities for your pets: Large pet bed, food bowl and water bowl.
A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than twenty-one (21) days to arrival date, minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refund offered for cancellations made twenty-one (21) days or less to arrival date.
