Relax on the back deck of the Lake House cabin with your steaming mug of hot coffee as you watch the morning mist evaporate off the pristine and transparent waters of Lake Dakwa. Let your vacation begin by napping in the mood-mellowing hammock or lounging under the over sized umbrella or maybe melting into the extra large hot tub, all while viewing the tranquil lake. How about grabbing a fishing pole and seeing what the lake is willing to give up or rent a canoe and let your worries drift into oblivion as you glide across the placid surface of this beautiful lake.
Venture inside where you’ll find warm honey-colored wood throughout the cabin as well as in-set track lighting to set this laid-back mood in motion. There’s a unique u-shaped island with built-in sink, stove and dishwasher as well as seating for four. This is connected to the large family room with its handsome brick fireplace and ample seating for the whole family. Naturally there are windows everywhere, so everyone gets to enjoy the views of the lake. Lower level has a wet bar, air hockey and ping-pong table and of course a large flat screen TV.
Located in Ellijay, GA. you can visit this quaint country town for some antiquing or great “Mom and Pop” dining. There are also plenty of fun outdoor adventures to keep you busy for days.
The Lake House is a beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 3 bath cedar sided home that sleeps up to six (6) people and offers the following:
- One King size bed, one queen size bed, and two twin size beds with luxurious 400 count sheets
- Wood-burning fireplace in the living room, central heat and air, washer and dryer
- Access to Lake Dakwa, ATV friendly, access to community tennis court and swimming pool
- Hot tub, large outdoor living area, hammock, fire pit, and propane gas grill
- Wireless DSL Internet
- Wet bar, game room with Satellite TV with Network Channels, DVD/VCR, air hockey table, foosball table, ping-pong tableboard and card games, and books
- Bath essentials such as private label soap and shampoo, hair dryer and thick towels
The fully equipped kitchen includes:
- Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and coffee maker
- Dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans
The only items you’ll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
- Rates are $160 per night plus tax for 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4 people), each additional room is $40 per bedroom per night plus tax. Please specify which rooms you would like to use.
- Weekly rates are $980 plus tax, each additional room is $280 per room per week plus tax.
- Cleaning fees are $75 as a 2 bedroom and $85 as a 3 bedroom.
- Two night minimum stay on non-holidays.
- Three night minimum stay for New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and the month of October.
- Four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Pets Always Stay Free! There are no size or weight limits or pet deposits!
Because we are truly pet friendly, we provide the following amenities for your pets: Large pet bed, food bowl and water bowl.
A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than twenty-one (21) days to arrival date, minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refund offered for cancellations made twenty-one (21) days or less to arrival date.
