Appropriately named, Wilderness Lodge is perched on top of a hill at the end of a quiet road located inside the Coosawattee River Resort. Surrounded by tall trees and views of distant mountains, you can sit on the deck or by the outdoor fireplace while you listen to the birds chirp and the mountain air blowing through the trees. Keep your eyes open to the many forms of wildlife that inhabit the surrounding grounds of this cabin; you are sure to see deer, wild turkeys, many birds and even the occasional bear.
After you soak up all that the outdoors has to offer, you can retreat inside to your spacious, luxury cabin. Cuddle up in front of the fireplace and watch your favorite show on the large flat screen TV. Venture downstairs and play some pool or air hockey or just relax in the hot tub and let your worries melt away. There is even an XBOX in the kids room to keep everybody happy. You will find this cabin has all the comforts of home including the fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, flat screen TVs in each bedroom and a jetted tub in the master bathroom. The mountain decor and the fine furnishings are just the icing on the cake that will make you want to come back for more. Located minutes from the quaint little town of Ellijay, make sure you check the town calendar for upcoming events, including the “Apple Festival” in October.
Wilderness Lodge is a beautifully decorated four bedroom, three bath log home that sleeps up to eight (8) people and offers the following:
- One king, 2 queen, and a bunk bed all with luxurious 400 count sheets
- Master bath has a Jetted Garden tub and separate shower
- Gas Log fireplace in the living room, central heat and air, washer and dryer
- Screened in porch with wrap around decks, hot tub, outdoor wood burning fireplace, fire pit, and propane gas grill
- Wireless DSL Internet
- Flat screen TV in each bedroom, XBox in bunk room
- Game room with large flat screen with Satellite TV, DVD/VCR, pool table, board and card games, and books
- Bath essentials such as private label soap and shampoo, hair dryer and thick towels
The fully equipped kitchen includes:
- Stainless Steel Appliances, refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and coffee maker
- Dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans
The only items you’ll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
- Rates are $175 per night plus tax for 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4 people), each additional room is $40 per bedroom per night plus tax. Please specify which rooms you would like to use.
- Weekly rates are $1085 plus tax, each additional room is $280 per room per week plus tax.
- Cleaning fee $95 as 2 bedroom or $120 as 3 or 4 bedroom.
- Two night minimum stay on non-holidays.
- Three night minimum stay for New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and the month of October.
- Seven night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Pets Always Stay Free! There are no size or weight limits or pet deposits!
Because we are truly pet friendly, we provide the following amenities for your pets: Large pet bed, food bowl and water bowl.
A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than twenty-one (21) days to arrival date, minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refund offered for cancellations made twenty-one (21) days or less to arrival date.
