We want your stay to be safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. While most cabin issues can be
addressed during regular business hours, the following list outlines what is considered a
true emergency that requires immediate attention after hours.
Emergency Situations Requiring Immediate Response (Call 888-875-5669, option 2)
- Lost – Before calling, put in your GPS and match up to the step by step directions that we emailed you and that are also in the digital guest book. We recommend that you use our directions but if you get lost, it could be helpful to use your GPS to get you back on track if you missed a turn.
- Locked Out – Keypad or lockbox is not working, and cannot access the property. Before calling, refer to your directions to make sure you are at the correct lockbox.
- Bedroom Locked – Bedroom door is locked and you had included it in your reservation.
- No Heat or No Air Conditioning – Only if urgent such as total failure during extreme weather conditions.
- No Power – Complete power outage not related to a known utility issue. Your digital guestbook has a link to the power company outage maps.
- No Water or Major Plumbing Issues – No running water, leaking or burst pipe, or overflowing toilet with potential flooding.
- Gas Leak or Fire/Carbon Monoxide Alarm – (Call 911 first if there is an active emergency, then notify us)
- Hot Tub Overheating or Leaking – Only if the issue poses a risk of property damage.
- Refrigerator Not Working – Only if it affects medication or essential food storage.
- Missed Cleaning – Only for situations where it appears the cabin was not cleaned at all.
Non-Urgent Issues (Handled During Business Hours 9 am-5 pm, 888-875-5669, option 2)
- Wi-Fi issues or TV/streaming problems. (Check the fridge for codes)
- Minor cleanliness concerns
- Hot tub not heating – Please refer to the laminated instruction sheet located near the hot tub for troubleshooting tips
- Cabin temperature concerns when HVAC is operational
- Appliance malfunctions (e.g., grill, oven, coffee maker, toaster)
- Shortage of towels (please check the beds, bathroom cabinets/drawers)
- Missing items that are non-essential (e.g., extra blankets, utensils)
- Cosmetic issues (scratches, loose knobs, burnt-out lightbulbs)
- Early check-in or late check-out requests.
