**Edgewater allows two dogs of up to 25 pounds each.

The Edgewater cabin is a spectacular luxury cabin located on the largest stretch of the Coosawattee River in Ellijay, Georgia, in the Coosawattee River Resort. This top-of-the-line cabin comfortably sleeps up to 14 people which makes it a perfect option for large family gatherings and corporate retreats. The Edgewater is comfy and contemporary, open yet private, and beautifully decorated to give that warm and modern lodge feel.

On cool North Georgia mountains, curl up by the real wood-burning fireplace as you watch the big game on the 42” flat screen TV in the family area. Or create your own fun with a friendly game on the pool table or maybe reminisce over a competitive round of Ms Pacman. The arcade game table includes 60 classic 80's games! The kitchen is a haven for culinary creations and includes everything a cook could want to create mouthwatering meals, while the grill outside is available for those eager to fry up the day’s catch after a long day of fishing on the Coosawattee River.

While the food is cooking, build up an appetite on the private basketball court and horseshoe pit. The covered porches are perfect for outdoor dining and the crisp North Georgia mountain air goes great alongside any meal. After dinner, head down to the fire pit that sits alongside the river to tell stories and roast marshmallows in the cool evening air. There is also a large dock overlooking the river that is perfect for an after dinner social gathering. Sip on your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine in the hot tub and gaze out at the river flowing vibrantly against the scenery of the majestic Georgia mountains.

As the sun sets over the spectacular Georgia Mountains, you'll begin to feel that wonderful sensation of you're whole body relaxing and thoughts of sleep become the dominate force that over-take you. With several great options you may want to head to The master bedroom , which has a king size bed and a private deck and an amazing view of the Coosawattee River. The master bedroom also has a tiled shower with double shower heads. The main level bedroom have two queen size beds and one bunk bed, all with luxurious 400-count sheets and the Terrace level has another king bed with 2 bunks with fulls on the bottom and twins on top. This is definitely the ideal cabin for the entire family to enjoy a summer vacation or holidays in the mountains of North Georgia.

The Cabin Itself is Fabulous!

EDGEWATER - we rented the Edgewater last week for a family getaway and were BEYOND pleased with the cabin itself (gasp!), the location (we love the Coosawattee River Resort), extended parking and the access to the river. We had eight adults and four kids and had room for more. The cabin itself is fabulous; it is huge and has nice furnishings and appliances. The bathrooms are large as well. The screened porches allowed us to enjoy the evenings with no bugs - a must in the summer. The hot tub was a plus as well as the downstairs game room/family room. Access to the river was perfect - it had stone steps down into the crystal clear water and the kids (and a few adults) absolutely loved it. The men had very competitive horseshoe games every night and the kids enjoyed the fenced basketball court. There are two identical cabins next door if you need them for a huge family retreat. We had baby deer near the front porch as we arrived and watched lots of deer all week; they even walked into the middle of the river to eat. We will definitely rent this one again.

I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much we enjoyed our weekend at Edgewater, Stoney River and Hunters Lodge. As you know we have rented all 3 cabins the same weekend every year for a few years. It’s become a tradition. It started out as just my husband and I setting aside a quiet weekend in a small cabin to take a weekend and enjoy the holiday spirit. It has now turned into an anticipated family event from the ages of 4 to 84. From the moment we walked into Edgewater and saw the holiday decorations it was perfect and set the holiday tone. Thanks sooo much for sharing your cabins with our family. The weekend was full of love, holiday fun and sharing of stories from young to old. In our family we call it our Winter Wonderland weekend and this year did not disappoint. We look forward to next year but I could not let this year go by without a heart full thank you.

My family and I fully enjoyed our stay at Edgewater! The cabin was clean and spacious and it accommodated our large group perfectly! The location is gorgeous and there is lots to do! We brought groceries from home and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need to prepare and enjoy our meals. The outdoor living spaces were adorable, the river allows for fishing, swimming (at your own risk of course), and we enjoyed our nightly bonfires. The cabin is stocked with dvd movies, karaoke machine, a pool table and board games for rainy days. My only regret is not having stayed longer but we will definitely be coming back! The hosts were accommodating and responded promptly to emails and messages. We give this cabin a double thumbs up!!! Oh and make sure you follow the directions sent to you by the host, they are spot on and will ensure your GPS doesn’t get you lost.Best Location!!

Wow, what an amazing cabin and wonderful place to take the kids for their Fall break!! We only live about 2 hours away but have never been to the mountains in North Georgia before. Decided last minute to get away for a few days while the kids were on break and so happy that we found the Edgewater Cabin. There was so much room and so much to do!! The weather was still warm, so the kids headed down to the river and had a blast, while we enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching them. At night we made a fire in the fire-pit and all sat in the hot tub. There were deer everywhere, they would just wander around the yard. All and all, great time had by all and we would love to come back next summer to explore more of this area. Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful place!!

Our entire group stayed for the Christmas Week and we absolutely loved the Edgewater!! The view of the river was gorgeous . It was very spacious for everyone to have their own space yet still be together. My mom who uses a walker was able to enjoy most activities from the main floor and it was roomy enough to get her walker around without bumping into things.
