If you like the feeling of being tucked away in the North Georgia mountains, yet having all the luxury of a resort, then the Hunter’s Lodge is the place you want to be. Constructed of native river rock and cinnamon colored logs, this theme adorns both the outside and inside of this spectacular North Georgia cabin. With three large bedrooms, Hunter’s Lodge is the place for a family reunion or a gathering of good friends.

The family area has an entire wall of stone, with a built-in fireplace and 65" 4K TV on one side and a wall of windows facing the spectacular Coosawattee River on the other. The cabin will be a hunter’s dream, adorned with deer heads, antlers, fish, and more! The extra-large kitchen with ample seating and an island allows everyone to gather round and chat while enjoying drinks and some fresh Georgia Mountain trout freshly caught in the river on the private dock.

Three large luxury bedrooms all with 400 plus count bedrooms gives you enough room to sleep 14 guests. Additional sleeping spots are available for four more guests for an additional charge of $20/person/night plus additional cleaning fee.

The lower level has a full-size pool table, beverage cooler, another floor-to-ceiling river rock fireplace, and decorative leather seating. It’s a great space for playing games, karaoke, Playstation 3 watching a ball game, or just hanging out when you don’t feel like getting outside. And if this isn’t enough to entice you, let’s step outside where the fun really begins! Located on the widest stretch of the Coosawattee River, you can sunbathe on a rock, sit on the deck which overhangs the river, relax in the swing built for two, nap in one of the two hammocks off the master, or just soak up this gorgeous North Georgia setting from the hot tub. For our more athletic guest, basketball – and for the more mellow mountaineer, horseshoes. The gang will have a blast playing volley ball and 4 square! Don’t forget to take advantage of the fire pit. Located at the river’s edge with plenty of seating, it’s the perfect way to end the perfect day. There are so many incredible places to enjoy your time in this beautiful North Georgia cabin.

Situated in the Coosawattee River Resort in Ellijay, the cabin’s location offers plenty of activities both inside and outside the resort if you care to venture away from this spectacular North Georgia cabin.

For those looking to explore the true heart of the North Georgia mountains, historic downtown Ellijay is a friendly haven welcoming adventurers to experience its warmth. Settled within the elegance of the Blue Ridge Mountains, downtown Ellijay is a busy marketplace that is situated on the Coosawattee River where the Ellijay and Cartecay Rivers merge. The Tabor House Museum, the Civil War library, and several historic buildings draw people from all over to trade mountain crafts and stories. Stop by the Saturday farmers market or venture to the Cartecay Vineyards. There are festivals, trails, antiques, and apples – all waiting for you!

Exceptional Cabin

We stayed in Hunter's Lodge located in Ellijay, Georgia, right on the river. Both the management company and the owner have done an extraordinary job in making sure this cabin had everything you and your family would need for an amazing time in the mountains. The housekeepers had done a superb job in providing a clean cabin, both inside and out. There were loads of games for the children to play, an out of this world race car game that worked off your cellphone, tons of outdoor equipment for basketball, horsehoes, badminton, fishing, outdoor ping pong, and an indoor game room with a regulation size pool table, and the added bonus of a hot tub. Two fireplaces, and an outdoor firepit by the river for roasting hot dogs, marshmellows, and telling stories about the deer and Canadian geese wandering through the yard. Having all these amenities (with everything working perfectly) takes some serious forethought by the owner and meticulous management and execution by Morning Breeze Cabin Rentals. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. Relaxing in a cabin like this in the mountains will restore your soul.

We had such fun exploring all the nooks and crannies when we arrived. The inside and outside games added to our enjoyment. We cut down the side trips because there was so much to enjoy on site. A group tubed, little ones played in the river. We took advantage of badmitten, sliding down the hill, basketball, and added corn hole. All screened in porches were utilized. Older kids loved the pool table. We missed gathering around the fire pit because of rain. Lots of board games were played. All the moms and daughters loved cooking together. Our highpoint was celebrating our 50th anniversary with a slide show, prayer, sharing memories, and playing the newlywed game with parents being married 50 yrs and daughters 20 and 25! The 4 days will be a forever memory.

This is a beautiful, updated, and very spacious cabin right on the river that we loved! The property was perfect for a large party -- we had three couples and 5 kids. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all on separate floors, and each has it's own space and privacy with great views of the river. The cabin was very charming, comfortable and very well-stocked. Although we couldn't enjoy all the possible activities due to the weather, the property has so many options -- pool table, hot tub on the deck, a deck over the river, a fire pit right along the river, and a basketball court that got tons of use! We loved the property and look forward to coming back in the warmer weather!

We were a group of three couples and their kids who decided to take an unexpected weekend away from the crazy busy city life. The cabin was only an hour and a half from Atlanta and we felt like we were a million miles away from it all. The cabin was huge!!! Three levels, each with a bedroom and bathroom ( perfect for our group), tons of deck and yard space for the kids. The hot tub was plenty big for us adults to all enjoy after the kids went to bed, as was the firepit and few fun games of pool.
