For those looking to explore the true heart of the North Georgia mountains, historic downtown Ellijay is a friendly haven welcoming adventurers to experience its warmth. Settled within the elegance of the Blue Ridge Mountains, downtown Ellijay is a busy marketplace that is situated on the Coosawattee River where the Ellijay and Cartecay Rivers merge. The Tabor House Museum, the Civil War library, and several historic buildings draw people from all over to trade mountain crafts and stories. Stop by the Saturday farmers market or venture to the Cartecay Vineyards. There are festivals, trails, antiques, and apples all waiting for you!

* This cabin is located within the exclusive Coosawattee River Resort. This gated community requires that all guest submit a gate access form with the names of all guests that will be staying at the cabin. This form must be filled out 3 days prior to arrival, allowing the resort time to process it. Upon arrival, guests will check-in at the gate.

Within the Coosawattee River Resort you will have access to the Recreation Center, which includes:
An enclosed, heated Junior Olympic-sized pool with 8-feet at the deep end and a large shallow end for the small ones, it's comfortable swimming year-round.
A heated kiddie pool is available for the very little ones where they can splash & play in shallow water.
Off of the Recreation Center's lobby are the Fitness Center and Game Room. The Fitness Center is complete with treadmills, weight machines, free weights, rowing machines, and exercise bikes. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi are also available. The Game Room is a coin-operated arcade with games, pool tables, and an air hockey machine.
The Recreation Center also has other outside attractions, which include tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, plus an 18-hole miniature golf course. The equipment can be checked out at the Recreation Center desk.
