With Carter's Lake just 15 minutes away, you can go boating or fish to your heart's content. Hiking trails abound throughout both Ellijay and Blue Ridge, Georgia, with tons of great mountain trails. These include the Tumbling Water and Amadahy Trails, both about 10-12 minutes from the Mountain Livin' rental cabin away. Don't miss out on Amicalola Falls, it's about 35 minutes away and well worth the drive. The park is home to the highest waterfall in Georgia, reaching 729 feet. You can hike the side of the falls in the woods or use the steps. If you are into biking, the Ridge Way Mountain Bike Trail is just a quick 12-15 minutes away, with some black diamond trails, be sure to bring your safety equipment.
