This charming cabin rental in Ellijay, GA sits just a few yards from the inviting waters of the Coosawattee River. A splendid spot for you to just kick back, put your feet up and enjoy the sights and sounds of the North Georgia Mountains. The screened porch has plenty of seating for the whole family to gather and enjoy some quality time together while the lazy river remains a constant backdrop to your conversations. Or maybe this a couple's special weekend away and a nice glass of wine and a dip in the hot tub is what you both need to unwind and reconnect. This water front cabin rental not only has an amazing view of the river, there is also an abundance of wildlife roaming the grounds. Keep your eyes peeled for deer, turkey and those adorable little groundhogs.

The interior of this Georgia Mountain Cabin is truly delightful, with a gas burning fireplace encased in stack stone where an extra-large flat screen TV hangs above it. You'll quickly find this to be the ideal spot to spend a few carefree hours watching a movie or two or maybe dozing off for that much needed nap. The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare a gourmet meal from the freshly caught trout you pulled in from the river this morning. There is plenty of seating for everyone between the island and fine wooden table just a few feet away.

When the sun finally sets over the mountain tops of North Georgia you'll want to converge around the fire-pit where you can poke the flames with a few sticks and roast some marshmallows over the open fire. When you just can't keep your eyes open another minute, crawl back inside into one of the luxury King beds with 400-count thread sheet and let the soothing cool mountain breeze lull you to sleep.

Located in the Coosawattee River Resort, in Ellijay GA., you will have access to the resort amenities, including the community pool, tennis courts, clubhouse and common fishing areas. If you're a fan of the Apple Fest, this lovely cabin is only 10 minutes away from the fairgrounds where you can sample some of the most delicious apples, cakes and pies. Plus visit hundreds of different vendors selling their one of kind mountain treasures. If you enjoy hiking, horse-back riding or tubing, you won't have to look far, all are less than 20 minutes from the resort and only 10-12 minutes to the quaint little town of Ellijay, an adorable little mountain town where you can spend the day roaming through the over-flowing antiques shops filled with memories of days gone by. If you had a few extra days to visit the area, be sure to head north another 15 minutes to the sophisticated little town of Blue Ridge, GA. You will find tons of great restaurants, an abundance of specialty shops and of course the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.

* This cabin is located within the exclusive Coosawattee River Resort. This gated community requires that all guest submit a gate access form with the names of all guests that will be staying at the cabin. This form must be filled out 3 days prior to arrival, allowing the resort time to process it. Upon arrival, guests will check-in at the gate.

Within the Coosawattee River Resort, you will have access to the Recreation Center, which includes:

* An enclosed, heated Junior Olympic-sized pool with an 8-foot deep end and a large shallow end for the small ones, it's comfortable swimming year-round.
* A heated kiddie pool is available for the very little ones, where they can splash & play in shallow water.
* Fitness Center, complete with treadmills, weight machines, free weights, rowing machines, and exercise bikes. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi are also available.
* Game Room features a coin-operated arcade with multiple games, pool tables, and an air hockey machine.
* Recreation Center with outdoor attractions, which include tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, plus an 18-hole miniature golf course. The equipment can be checked out at the Recreation Center desk.
* Large covered pavilion at the Recreation Center for picnics.
