Rise and shine and get ready for another day of Georgia Mountain fun! If you feel like taking a hike, just step out your door and hike the ridge from top to bottom; it's a great workout with the advantage of breathing in all that fresh Georgia mountain air. If you are up for a bigger hike with a spectacular waterfall, head out to Amicolola State Park. There are several ways to get to the top of the Falls, including a hiking trail that runs parallel to the falls. At 729 feet, Amicolola is the highest waterfall in Georgia...well worth the trip!

Stardust Mountain is ideally located within the exclusive Walnut Mountain community, where you will have access to hiking trails, fishing ponds, and pickleball. Plus it is just and easy 10 minutes from downtown Ellijay . Once there, you will find plenty of both indoor and outdoor activities to keep you busy for days. This includes both "fine" dining and "Mom and Pop" restaurants, coffee shops, and tons of great shopping including antiques and boutiques. Within the Ellijay there are zip lines, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, and not to be missed the famous "Apple Festival" in October. Drive another 15 minutes North to get to downtown Blue Ridge, this little gem of a North Georgia town is chock-full of fun!! An interesting array of restaurants, breweries, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and home to the Blues and BBQ, Arts in the Park, and Fire and Ice.
