Ideally located in the Cherry Log community, you will have both little mountain towns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge about 10-15 minutes away. Wonderfully charming antique shops line the streets of downtown Ellijay, where you can search until your heart's content for treasures of days gone by. Blue Ridge will bring you back to reality with enticing upscale restaurants, such as Harvest on Main, Black Bear, and Whiskey and Water. There is also plenty of great shopping for everyone, including your 4-legged family member who will love to sniff around at Love Dogs and Cats too. Be sure to ask about their special treats made just for Fido. Not to be missed in downtown Blue Ridge is the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. This delightful 3-hour round-time train ride is the perfect family activity, where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the North Georgia Mountain scenery from the indoor or outdoor railway car.
