Does chillin' in the hot tub with a beverage of your choice sound like your ideal way to let all that city stress melt away? Well, you're in luck, this over-sized hot tub is situated with a perfect view of the river below and sparkling stars of North Georgia above. There's an additional deck situated below that over-hangs the waters of the Cartecay River where you can feel free to throw in a line and snag a trout or two.

Step inside this wonderful little Water Front Georgia Mountain Hideaway where you will find all the luxuries of home in a gorgeous mountain setting. Fully equipped kitchen plus a seating area where you can look out the window and view the rushing Cartecay River below. The family room has a wood burning fireplace encased in a floor to ceiling rock wall. The perfect spot to kick back and relax with a hot cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the mountain decor and ambiance. You will find two comfy bedrooms, one a King and one a Queen, where you can get a restful night's sleep after a day of hiking, kayaking or maybe horseback riding through the spectacular mountains of North Georgia.

If you are up for a bit of exercise, hike down the 140 steps that lead to the large dock over-hanging the Cartecay River. This is a perfect spot to launch a kayak, throw in a tube to float down the river or try your hand at some trout fishing. Be sure to bring your Marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate to make S'mores around the fire-pit. What a wonderful way to end each day with the North Georgia stars hanging over your head and the brilliant reflection of the moon gleaming off the river.

Located just 15 minutes from downtown Ellijay, you will have the opportunity to do some antique shopping, dine in some wonderful restaurants or maybe just stroll around the little square. Be sure to check out the famous Apple Orchards of Ellijay, including Hillcrest, R & A and BJ Orchards. They all have delicious fried pies, muffins and apple cider donuts. Hiking abounds in both the Ellijay and Blue Ridge, GA areas, anything from a quick half-mile loop to an intense 5 plus miles of rugged terrain with some rewarding spectacular mountain views upon your arrival at the top. There are also several places to go horseback riding, tubing down the rivers or maybe zip-lining for the more adventurous in your group.
