If the lure of the river along with the peace and quiet of the beautiful North Georgia mountains is your ideal getaway, the Rushing River Lodge cabin rental is definitely the perfect vacation destination for you. Located in the Coosawattee River Resort, there are so many great options for where you can sit and relax. Being a true River Front Cabin, the water is always nearby and oh so enjoyable to watch. So many good choices, maybe sitting in one of the rockers on the screened-in porch, on the cozy swing built for two, in the recessed hot tub, or possibly in front of a roaring fire out by the custom made fire pit. Every seat has an incredible view of the Coosawattee River and this breathtaking North Georgia mountain setting. If you can tear yourself away from the great outdoors, the interior is just as inviting.

Tastefully decorated in custom mountain decor, you will find a comfy leather sofa and love seat situated in front a stacked stone wood-burning fireplace, making this the perfect place to snuggle up with someone special for a weekend or longer. If you like to dabble in the kitchen, there is a brand new gas range, stainless steel appliances, and gorgeous granite counter-tops. Just picture yourself frying up your day's catch of catfish or bass served with some local organic North Georgia veggies and accompanied by a nice glass of wine from one of our Georgia mountain vineyards. Be sure to save some room for dessert, delicious s'mores with marshmallows freshly roasted over the fire pit that sits just a few feet from the river front.

When it is time for bed, send the kiddos up to the custom loft where they'll each have their own built-in bed with private DVD player and headphones. Mom and Dad can relax in one of the deluxe king-size beds and watch some TV on the 42" flat screen or relax on the private screened-in porch overlooking the Coosawattee River, taking in this magnificent North Georgia setting. Each space in this beautifully decorated cabin is perfectly appointed, offering both kids and adults great spaces to rest and play during a stay in the scenic North Georgia mountains

Located just 10-12 minutes from downtown Ellijay, you'll find plenty of great restaurants and shops to spend hours strolling these lovely streets in the Mountains of North Georgia. The yearly Apple Fest is minutes away from this cabin, where you can find a multitude of talented vendors displaying their unique Georgia Mountain art.

* This cabin is located within the exclusive Coosawattee River Resort. This gated community requires that all guest submit a gate access form with the names of all guests that will be staying at the cabin. This form must be filled out 3 days prior to arrival, allowing the resort time to process it. Upon arrival, guests will check-in at the gate.

Within the Coosawattee River Resort you will have access to the Recreation Center, which includes:
An enclosed, heated Junior Olympic-sized pool with 8-feet at the deep end and a large shallow end for the small ones, it's comfortable swimming year-round.
A heated kiddie pool is available for the very little ones where they can splash & play in shallow water.
Off of the Recreation Center's lobby are the Fitness Center and Game Room. The Fitness Center is complete with treadmills, weight machines, free weights, rowing machines, and exercise bikes. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi are also available. The Game Room is a coin-operated arcade with games, pool tables, and an air hockey machine.
The Recreation Center also has other outside attractions, which include tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, plus an 18-hole miniature golf course. The equipment can be checked out at the Recreation Center desk.
