Sunset Ridge is a luxuriously appointed four bedroom, three bath log home nestled in the North Georgia Mountains that sleeps up to eight people. There are three levels, each with large covered decks and stunning views of the Georgia Mountains. Any one of them being the perfect spot to watch the setting sun melt into the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Step inside into a the large family room, a nice cozy place to gather around with the family and spend some quality time together in front of the glowing wood burning fireplace. Or maybe lounge in front of the TV to watch exciting sports event, an old classic movie or just reminisce while playing a board games or two. Gorgeous upscale granite counter-tops throughout, a nice leather sofa, and a custom wood dining table, this cabin is perfect for family gatherings or a couples weekend away in the Georgia mountains.

Ideal sleeping arrangements for the whole family. On the main floor, you can kick back and relax in your king size bed while you view the North Georgia mountains through the beautiful glass French doors. Upper level has a private balcony with seating where you can observe a private showing of those spectacular Georgia Mountain sunsets. Lower level has two queens and a foosball table plus it's own exterior exit to the lower level deck area.

On breezy mountain days, take full advantage of the extra large outdoor deck where you can breathe in the crisp North Georgia mountain air and enjoy the sunset while soaking in the hot tub, or lounging in front of the large outdoor fireplace. There’s plenty of seating for everyone, with rockers, gliders and cushioned chairsn and a nice eating area allows to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Georgia mountains while you gather for your family meal. Or you and a loved one can cuddle up with your morning coffee on the double swing located on the lower level before sneaking out to your private deck on the upper level for a splendid view of those breathtaking North Georgia mountains. Pets are welcome, and this cabin is perfect for your furry friends to join you – the decks even have dog gates! There is truly something for the whole family to enjoy at Sunset Ridge.

If you’re up for exploring, venture into one of the quaint North Georgia towns, only about 10-15 minutes away. Both Ellijay and Blue Ridge have some of the best little antique shops around and some “little gems” and great restaurants where you can grab a quick bite. If you’re really adventurous, head up to the Ocoee White Water Center, site of the 1996 Olympics, and try your hand at white water rafting. You can also relax at one of the picnic tables or sun yourself on a rock in the middle of the river. North Georgia is home to plenty of outdoor activities to please the mountain spirit in everyone from hiking and biking to horseback riding and rafting. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants that encompass the North Georgia mountain culture; you’ll never run out of things to do on your North Georgia mountain vacation.

We did something different than our family has ever done before ... we spent Christmas in the mountains and it was absolutely wonderful. The weather was freezing and the fire in the fireplace, both inside and out on the deck, added to the charm of this magnificent cabin. The "woodland" decor was such an addition to the quaint feel of the rustic beauty. The "hustle and bustle" of Christmas was not in our lives this year ... there was a rare 'peace of mind' ... much laughter, and memories treasured. The layout of the cabin offered privacy for all. We had a great stay at Sunset Ridge with our four kids and dog. The location is great, offering convenience to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. We went white water rafting on the Oconee, which was just a short drive, and hiked the Appalachian Trail Approach after seeing Amicalola Falls. The cabin location is convenient to many outdoor activities in the area. And then back to the cabin for a relaxing evening of fresh mountain air in the hot tub or in the rocking chairs on the huge deck.

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful cabin. The view was amazing and we enjoyed relaxing in the rockers gazing out at it. Although our stay was short, we enjoyed several activities in the area – trekking up to Amicalola Falls (beautiful!), Ocoee River whitewater rafting (breathtaking, literally each time a splash of cold water hit us!), and zip lining. All were worth a trip back. We were also able to enjoy an anniversary evening on the deck in the hot tub and in the comfortable cabin.
