If you choose to venture out of this charming little cabin and into the heart of North Georgia, you will find plenty of outdoor activities ....from hiking and fishing to horseback riding and tubing on one of the many rivers that flow through these mountain towns. The cabin is only 10 minutes from beautiful downtown Ellijay, where this easy drive will take you on a pleasant journey through the North Georgia mountains and into the heart of this quaint little town. There are endless activities, with many festivals, antique shops, and harvests that downtown Elliay invitingly offers. Every season has something to offer but it's in the Fall when the fun really heats up. The Apple Festival is only minutes away and not to be missed is Amicalola Falls. Considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia, this 700 plus foot waterfall is truly breath-taking. Be sure to bring your hiking boots so you can hike the adjacent trail that will take you to the top of this magnificent waterfall.
