Relax on the over-sized screened porch, complete with seating and an eating area, soak in the hot tub or maybe gather around the fire table for some good conversation and a glass of wine from Chateau Meichtry's winery.

Step inside this wonderful cabin rental and let the ambiance of the Georgia Mountains continue to envelop you. The entire back of the cabin is glass, allowing the sunshine and gorgeous mountain view to filter through. You will find a nice big seating area with a gas burning fireplace and TV, the ideal spot to kick back, relax and let all those silly worries just fade away. Just steps away is a fully furnished kitchen with beautiful granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. A full sized kitchen table plus some seating at the bar area, make for the perfect place to come together and enjoy a delicious meal or two with the gang. The main level also features a King sized bedroom with a TV and an ensuite bathroom. The upper level of this wonderful mountain view cabin rental has two additional bedrooms, another King with a TV as well as a queen bedroom and additional bathroom. For those who need to stay plugged in during their vacation in the mountains, you will be happy to know that the internet speed is more than adequate and will support streaming and Zoom calls.

Watch the sun melt like a huge ball of fire over the horizon as you begin to feel the cool mountain breeze nip at your nose. Cuddle up with that someone special and wait for a shooting star to wish upon or maybe after a full day of exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains you are ready to hit the sack.

Another nice feature at the Whiskey Bear rental cabin in Ellijay is that it's pet friendly. There is even an enclosed area off the main deck where your furry family member can also enjoy the great outdoors with a magnificent North Georgia Mountain view!!

Located within the exclusive gated community of Walnut Mountain, the Whiskey Bear rental cabin will have access to the community pool and there is plenty of nearby hiking. This includes the Lawrence Stanley Nature Trail, located within the community itself, Amicalola Falls, Cartecay River Loop and Bear Creek Trail. You will also only be about 10 minutes max from downtown Ellijay, which has an abundance of shops and restaurants just waiting for you to explore. You will also be very close to all the great apple farms that the Ellijay area is known for, as well as the Apple Fest in October. Be sure to book early to get a front row seat to this exciting North Georgia activity. Anyone up for some wine? If so, you are in luck, there at least a half dozen wineries scattered throughout the Ellijay and Blue Ridge areas. These include: Chateau Meichtry, Ellijay River and Engelheim Vineyards to name a few. Most feature live music and some offer food to occupancy their delicious selection of wines.
