While you’re visiting, enjoy a day at Mercier Orchards, or visit Hillside Valley Farms to pick a pumpkin! We’ve put together a list of 4 activities you don’t want to miss this fall!

Hillside Valley Farms

This 100 acre farm is home to many fun filled activities! Hillside Valley Farms has apples, blackberries, muscadines, a full commercial bakery to purchase their delicious products. Activities for the kids include gem mining, barnyard and farm themed playground, pavilion and hayrides. Hayrides will start running in October and the cost is $2 per person. Huckleberry Holler, Farm Park and Corn Maze

This Ellijay farm boasts cow train rides, a corn maze, haunted corn maze, pig races, tractor-pulled hay rides, pumpkin pickin’ and so much more! Huckleberry Holler is most famous for their pig races! Recently the farm has doubled their pig-stadium with covered bleachers on both sides. You and your family are sure to make lasting memories while attending the pig races this October!

B.J. Reece Apple House

Nothing says fall like eating all things apple flavored! B.J. Reece Apple House provides a great location to pick up some pre-picked apples for a delightful apple pie or apple jam. The Apple House also has a petting zoo, ziplines, hayrides and a large farm store with many unique items. B.J. Reece Apple House also offers U-pick apple options until October 31st from 9am-6pm daily!

Scenic Drive

Who doesn’t enjoy a scenic drive in the fall? North Georgia offers some of the most vibrant color displays during the fall and driving may be the best way to soak in the views. Trips vary – from a leisurely drives through mountains to verdant valleys.
