Hillside Valley Farms
This 100 acre farm is home to many fun filled activities! Hillside Valley Farms has apples, blackberries, muscadines, a full commercial bakery to purchase their delicious products. Activities for the kids include gem mining, barnyard and farm themed playground, pavilion and hayrides. Hayrides will start running in October and the cost is $2 per person. Huckleberry Holler, Farm Park and Corn Maze
This Ellijay farm boasts cow train rides, a corn maze, haunted corn maze, pig races, tractor-pulled hay rides, pumpkin pickin’ and so much more! Huckleberry Holler is most famous for their pig races! Recently the farm has doubled their pig-stadium with covered bleachers on both sides. You and your family are sure to make lasting memories while attending the pig races this October!
B.J. Reece Apple House
Nothing says fall like eating all things apple flavored! B.J. Reece Apple House provides a great location to pick up some pre-picked apples for a delightful apple pie or apple jam. The Apple House also has a petting zoo, ziplines, hayrides and a large farm store with many unique items. B.J. Reece Apple House also offers U-pick apple options until October 31st from 9am-6pm daily!
Apple Pickin' Jubilee at Hillcrest Orchards
It's almost that time of year again! The air starts to get crips and cool and the fall season is upon us! That means apple season is also upon us! Apple Pickin' Jubilee will be every Saturday and Sunday from September 14th through November 30th!
Weekend admission for the Apple Jubilee will be $14 per person and includes cow milking, wagon rides, cow train, live entertainment, pedal karts, petting farm, apple tree maz, mini-golf, moonshine and apple museums and more!
The market and bakery will be open and offer plenty of delicious eats!
49th Annual Georgia Apple Festival
This year Ellijay celebrates 48 fun filled years of Apple Festivals! Each year North Georgia brings two exciting weekends to Ellijay, Georgia! With hundreds of vendors offering arts, crafts, food, music and much more.
Festival will be held on October 12-13, 19-20.
The Georgia Apple Festival will be held at the Ellijay Lions Club. With over 300 vendors displaying handmade crafts, on site demonstrations and delicious homemade food, there's something for everyone at the Georgia Apple Festival!
Who doesn’t enjoy a scenic drive in the fall? North Georgia offers some of the most vibrant color displays during the fall and driving may be the best way to soak in the views.
