Hiking

For the outdoor enthusiast, this is a wonderland of opportunity. We had some of the best hiking in the Southeast with the Benton- MacKaye Trail, the largest feeder into the Appalachian Trail, zig-zaging throughout the area. The Pinohoti Trail is great for both hiking and mountain biking, it feeds directly into Springer Mountain, the starting point of  the Appalachian Trail .

Picnicking

Planning a picnic with your family in Blue Ridge, Georgia, is a way to take you back to the good ol’ days. Some great options for throwing in a line include the Toccoa, Chattooga, Cohutta, Jacks Creek, Conosauga and Cooper Creek. Spend the day fishing in Blue Ridge for a father-son outing, a peaceful day on your own, or a fun afternoon with friends.

River Rafting 

Do you need a bit more adventure, how about white water rafter down the Ocoee River, you’ll find class 3 to 5 rapids and some heart pumping excitement as you make your way down the 10 miles stretch of the upper and middle Ocoee.​
