Relaxing in a tube as you float down one of the many Georgia mountain rivers is yet another great way to experience the beautiful sights and sounds of the North Georgia Mountains. It’s something the entire family can enjoy; even the little bitty ones can sit on parents’ laps as the easy flowing rivers let them drift mindlessly away for an hour or two. Shallowford Bridge Tubing
Open seasonally, May through September, Shallowford Bridge Tubing allows you to kick back and enjoy a 1.5 hour trip down the upper Toccoa River in Blue Ridge as you float in the water and refresh your mountain spirit with the soothing flow of the river. Small children may ride in same tube with a parent (recommended for children two and under). Coolers and drinks are allowed!

Toccoa River Tubing Company
Open every day from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM (weather permitting). Walk-ins are welcome. Reservations are not required, but are available to be made on our website anytime. Float the beautiful Toccoa River for only $14.00 per person. This trip is 1.5 miles long and usually takes about 1 and 1/2 hours on the water depending on water levels. Cartecay River Experience
For a more vamped-up experience, you can rent a tube or kayak to take down the flowing waters of the Cartecay. A shuttle bus will take you and your friends down to the drop off of the river where you can soak in the brilliant Georgia Mountain sun and enjoy an exciting trip down the river.
