Some of our favorite places include Cantebury Restaurant, located in both towns, grab a quick bit or linger on the large outdoor deck in the heart of downtown Ellijay. Black Sheep, located in Blue Ridge is a bit more upscape and has both indoor, outdoor and deck seating. Main Street Antiques and Artful Ellijay are delightful places to spend some time to find unique antiques and one of kind artwork. The Blue Ridge Mountain Mall, has booth after booth with a great variety of items, many made by local artists. Be sure to check out Oyster Bamboo Fly Rods, unique hand-crafter fishing rods. Not to be missing is the High Art Gallery, you will find traditional, contemporary, impressionist, and folk art, plus many one of a kind jewelry, sculpture, pottery and other high end crafts.

There are two different tours to choose from, the Full Ocoee, which is a ten-mile stretch of the River, where you will experience beautiful scenery and includes am exciting ride through the site of the 1996 Olympic. The second trip, takes you through the most famous section of Class III-IV whitewater. You can enjoy five full miles of nearly continuous heart pumping excitement!
