Pet Friendly Activites

At Morning Breeze Cabin Rentals, we understand that pets are an important part of many families. That’s why we’ve created a pet-friendly atmosphere that both humans and pups will love. Pets always stay free, and you can bring up to two pets with no size or weight limits! You won’t have to pay a pet deposit to bring your four-legged friend along, and our pet-friendly policy goes beyond that. We also offer some wonderful amenities for your pets, including a large pet bed, food bowl, and water bowl in each pet-friendly cabin. That means fewer things you have to pack on your trip to North Georgia, leaving you more room for some unique souvenirs to take home. We know that your pet is a part of your family, and we want Fido to feel as welcome as you do!

You’ll likely spend hours relaxing with your pets in our homey cabins in North Georgia. Whether by the water, boasting a mountain view, or tucked peacefully at the end of a country road, our cabins are comfortable, beautifully decorated, and feature amenities to keep everyone on your vacation relaxed and entertained. Many have spacious decks or flat yards where pets can play and run, and some are located just by the water – perfect for a pooch on a hot day! But when you’re ready to leave the cabin and don’t want to leave your pet behind, you’ll have lots of options in Blue Ridge. Downtown is home to several dog-friendly restaurants, offering great patios and porches where dogs can relax as you enjoy a delicious meal in North Georgia.

Dog-friendly restaurants

At Harvest on Main, dine on the Bistro Steak, Crusted Salmon, and locally sourced ingredients at the tables under the porch. Then you can head over to Blue Ridge Brewery for a local beer and snacks. Tables in the outdoor bar area are pet friendly, so enjoy a drink while hanging out with man’s best friend. Want a hot cup of locally roasted coffee and fresh pastries or a tasty lunch in downtown Blue Ridge? Check out Blue Ridge Grocery, which offers a back porch and front sidewalks that are dog friendly. At Fightingtown Tavern, dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating. Their menu includes your favorite bar foods such as wings, tacos, grinders, and craft beers. If you’re craving pasta, enjoy casual Italian cuisine at the dog-friendly outdoor seating of Masseria.

Pet-friendly fun

Just a short drive from Blue Ridge, several parks feature trails that are dog friendly, allowing you to get out, stretch your legs, and enjoy the gorgeous fall weather with your best friend. Some nearby parks with dog-friendly trails include:

  • Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge | Dawsonville, GA
  • Fort Mountain State Park | Chatsworth, GA
  • Smithgall Woods State Park | Helen, GA
  • Unicoi State Park and Lodge | Helen, GA
  • Vogel State Park | Blairsville, GA

You can also check out The Haven Off Leash Dog Park, where you can let your dog run free while you enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains scenery. It’s located at 171 Mineral Springs Road in Georgia. Of course, you can always have fun around the cabin with your pet! Curl up in front of the fire in a cozy living room, relax on the deck at the end of the day, head down to the water to splash around, or just play around in the yard while taking in the stunning scenery of the North Georgia mountains!
