Mountain View Makes This My New Favorite Cabin

My cousins and I have been spending long weekends in the North Georgia mountains for years and have rented many, many cabins. Hummingbird Haven is now my favorite! The cabin is easy to get to and the parking area is big and mostly flat. I have had past experiences with steep gravel roads and driveways that I thought my car would not be able to get up. But not here. Even in the rain and fog, navigating to the cabin was not a problem. The cabin has tons of space and the kitchen is very well equipped. And the mountain views are fabulous. The porch area is huge and offers plenty of room for sitting and enjoying the mountains. I especially love that this cabin is just down the street from Ft. Mountain State Park which has great hiking trails. The only negative comment I have is that we didn’t see any bears (I was so hopeful). We will absolutely be back next year.
