Peaceful and Amazing Riverside Cabin in the Coosawattee Resort!

Cabin was clean and did not smell like dog, as many pet friendly cabins do. No animal hair noticed. Cabin was cozy. It was chilly, so we enjoyed the fireplace. Some wood is provided, but we picked up extra bundle of wood at Walmart. The river was so peaceful to listen to on the screened in porch. The hot tub was lovely as well. As others have mentioned, we saw a ton of deer! There were at least 10 that came up in the yard and we fed them carrots by hand. Awesome experience! There are several parks within the property and a rec center with indoor pool, gym, and arcade. We had all intentions of using the facilities, but never did. There are some beautiful trails with flowing creeks. Make sure you get a map at the gate to find all the ponds and parks. Very close to downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge for shopping and eating. We had a wonderful time with no issues at all. We will definitely be back!!
