Pet Friendly Riverfront Cabin = Best Summer Vacation

We recently stayed at Hunter’s Lodge in Ellijay, GA! It was one of the highlights of our summer vacations. We loved the cabin and the location. There is so much to do inside and outside. Inside we played multiple board games that they already provided. There is also the pool table, dart board, chess table, video games console, TV with hundreds of channels, WiFi, speakers to play your own music. Outside we played basketball, used the hot tub, went river tubing, swam in the river and roasted marshmallows in the fire pit. The cabin was clean, and cool rustic looking. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans, dishes. We cooked all our meals in the cabin. It’s pet friendly, so we were able to bring our dog. She had a blast by fetching a ball in the huge backyard, chasing deer and swimming in the river. The nature was mesmerizing. There was wilderness but in a gated community to feel safe enough. We didn’t want to leave! P.S. If you want to go tubing, they sell river tubes at Dick’s Sporting Good store.
