The Cabin Itself Is Fabulous!

EDGEWATER – we rented the Edgewater last week for a family getaway and were BEYOND pleased with the cabin itself (gasp!), the location (we love the Coosawattee River Resort), extended parking and the access to the river. We had eight adults and four kids and had room for more. The cabin itself is fabulous; it is huge and has nice furnishings and appliances. The bathrooms are large as well. The screened porches allowed us to enjoy the evenings with no bugs – a must in the summer. The hot tub was a plus as well as the downstairs game room/family room. Access to the river was perfect – it had stone steps down into the crystal clear water and the kids (and a few adults) absolutely loved it. The men had very competitive horseshoe games every night and the kids enjoyed the fenced basketball court. There are two identical cabins next door if you need them for a huge family retreat. We had baby deer near the front porch as we arrived and watched lots of deer all week; they even walked into the middle of the river to eat. We will definitely rent this one again.
