Mary has been in the cabin rental business for over 25 years. Having several investment properties of her own, she and a partner started by renting those cabins, slowly adding additional properties to create one of the largest cabin rental companies in North Georgia. With a four-year degree in business/marketing, her strengths are working behind the scenes to push Morning Breeze to the top of public awareness via advertising, social media, SEO work, and public relations. Mary is also a chiropractor and has been in the customer service industry for the past 30-plus years. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family, which includes three adorable grandchildren.

Susan Piotrowski

Owner Liaison

Susan has been invaluable to Morning Breeze for the past nine years as our Office Manager and Owner Liaison. She handles all the needs and requests of our owners, including on-site property visits. She also continues to act as Office Manager, working in-house supervising the reservation team. She is married and has a daughter who is in the OT program at Milligan University and a son who just graduated UGA. In her spare time, she enjoys crafts, gardening, and cooking.

Kim

Guest Relations

Kim has been working with Morning Breeze for over six years, as our guest relations expert as well as helping assist guests find the perfect cabin rental. She has years of experience in the travel industry, as well as a degree in Public Health. She is married and has two sons. Her oldest is attending University and the youngest plays travel baseball. Her interests include hiking, kayaking, and art classes.

Michelle

In-House Accountant

Michelle is our in-house accountant. She has years of experience in the field of bookkeeping and ensures that our overall financial operations are running smoothly. Michelle and her husband Jeff enjoy traveling and spending time with her family. Michelle has a son, a daughter-in-law, 3 cats, and a dog. Although she is a foster mom of up to ten kittens at any given time. In her spare time, she enjoys card making, house decorating, and crafts.

Peter Martin

Property Manager

Peter joined the Morning Breeze team in 2021 as part of our housekeeping team. With his incredible work ethnic and knowledge, he quickly moved up the ranks as one of our lead cleaners and “go to person”. Peter has experience in construction, remodeling, plumbing, electrical and appliances. He also has over 10 years’ experience as a property/maintenance manager. This year he was promoted to our property manager, overseeing the needs of our guests, the cabins and handling our maintenance vendors.

Jim & Angela Bennett

Weekend Property Managers

Jim and Angie have been with Morning Breeze Cabin Rentals for more than eight years, where they are currently responsible for weekend property management duties. They help assist guests with any issues that may arise during their weekend stay with us, as well as small maintenance jobs. They currently reside in Ellijay and are very familiar with the local area. They are very dedicated to their job and are an invaluable part of the team.

Karen Farmer

Cleaning Supervisor

Karen joined the Morning Breeze team in 2010, as a cleaner. She quickly grew to be one of our most dependable employees, helping with training new cleaners and doing inspections. She holds the distinction of being with the company’s longer than any other employee. In 2021 she took on the position of Cleaning Supervisor. Karen's hobbies include reading, cooking, gardening and coin collecting. She enjoys horseback riding with her son and to watch a good sunrise, sunset and the deer from her kitchen window.

Wendy Holmes

Blue Ridge Office Manager

Wendy joined the Morning Breeze team in 2021 in the capacity of Blue Ridge Office Assistant. She works with our property manager helping to manage the day to day needs of our cleaning and maintenance crew. Wendy has years of experience as an administrator assistant. She has an 18 year old daughter that just graduated from High School. In her free time Wendy enjoys spending time with her daughter and boyfriend and traveling to Kentucky to visit with her family.

Pete Lucas

Handyman

Pete is the main handyman for Morning Breeze Cabin Rentals. For the past 30 years, he has worked in the fields of carpentry, construction, and as an overall general contractor. Pete is originally from Eastern Long Island but has been living in the Blue Ridge Georgia area for the past decade.

Kimberly Peace-Hill

5 Star on site wedding coordinator

Kimberly is the on-site wedding coordinator for the Five Star Lodge and Stables. She brings with her over thirty years of wedding, special event and trade show planning experience. In addition to her work as a wedding and event coordinator, Kim's experiences also include her previous work as a pastry chef and professional musician, which have given her an opportunity to expand on her creativity. Over the years, Kim has helped hundreds of brides create the wedding of their dreams. She also offers additional wedding necessities and services including wedding stationary, engraved gifts and accessories as well as photo booth services. She will be happy to discuss these wedding enhancing services with you.
